Just my opinion but I think yes.
Now that most all schools that can really make a run at the National Championship are in a conference.
Notre Dame is all about the Money in college football! They don’t want to share anything with anyone! That’s great if no body puts a squeeze on them! They joined the ACC in every sport but football, because it helps them financially and helps them get into NCAA tournaments!
I know legally nothing can be done. But I’m interested in all your opinions.
