Glad to win another one! But Ellis and GURLEY COMBINED FOR 0-9 from three and
1-11 from field.For us to be any good they must play better. I really like
Ellis but he has been terrible. I really expected him to have a break out
season. We just cant get everyone on the same page lately.

Ellis has been awful. We need to be running sets for Gurley to get him the ball with his back to the basket on the block.

My hope is everyone just shows up and plays well in March. It damn sure hasn’t happened in sec play

Well we just figured out the issue with Gurley. We’ve had him out there shooting 3’s all year and his back to the basket game looks to be a strength. I’m sure we will run something to get him a favorable matchup in the post 2-3 more times.
Now Ellis, I just don’t have a clue about that one.

One of Ellis's biggest problems is he tends to mope when he errors or misses a shot. And he missed a lot of shots, so he had a lot of moping to do.

I was the king of mopers in church league ball and with good reason . I averaged a triple - double every game - ten missed shots, ten turnovers, and ten fouls (only five of which were called).

To his credit, Ellis is shooting nearly 90% from the foul line. We just need to get him there more often.
