This team has several among my favorite all-time at Bama. Love the guts and fight even when we're not shooting well. Herb, JQ, Gary and Ellis in particular. Just love the way these guys get after it. Will always remember this team as one of my top 2 or 3 favorites.

Also, it has been years since I was at a game where the Bama fans were as excited, pumped up and really all-in behind a team as yesterday in Nashville. During the pregame skirmish our fans were going nuts. It was awesome.

My friend and I broke it down by position the other day. Here's mine:

PG - Antoine Pettway
SG - Earnest Shelton
SF - Alonzo Gee
PF - Antonio McDyess
C - Erwin Dudley

Honorable Mentions:
Trevor Releford, Mikkail Torrance, Jamychal Green, Mo Williams, Ronald Steele

King and Douglas would lead the league in rebounds today with their abilities. . I never saw Harper but I suspect he could play today.

My favorite Three are all personal friends

Leon Douglas- I have not seen Leon in about six months, but I love when he comes by and we discuss the game.

Bryan Williams- Brian's father once schooled me on the basketball Court in my younger days. Brian always gets amused when I tell him that Tommy was a better player than Brian

J'Mychal Green- I say this young man growing up and am glad he made it to the top.

There is a former Coach in this Board that opened the gym many a summer day for the kids to practice.

Great list...how about Ennis Whatley and Antoine Pettway?

My favorite was Reggie "Mule" King. He sat next to me in English class and was not very interested in school. It didn't hurt that he was drafted in the 1st round of the NBA draft.

one thing wimp said about hollywood--he never saw a shot he did not like

also after mule took two long shots from about 30 feet out and wimp scolded him. mule repied, but coach i was wide open. wimp said, there was a reason you were wide open.

also after spree whipped his/ coaches ass in the Nba wimp was asked if spree ever whipped his ass. he replied--no, but i was a damn good canadet for it

since wimp was the last coach to win the SEC tournament , i thought i would mention him and some of his guys

Had Enimo in there, great pg, could be the best Ive seen. Mule could carry the team when he needed to. Pet was one of the ones I couldn’t think of, he obviously was a favorite and loves Bama. I took A long trip in the way back machine before having to come back.

My list is

Eric Washington - Great 3 point shooter and incredible athlete.
Roy Rogers - Always smiling
Rod Grizzard - I know some don’t like him, but I was sure he was going to be our Penny Hardaway. I was wrong, but I loved watching him
Trevor Releford - Usually the smallest guy on the court, but could always get to the rim.
Levi Randolf - He just loved playing for Bama

The whole team this is probably my new favorite. My favorites to watch are Petty, Herb, Reese, and Gary.

Enimo
Bobby Lee
Alvin Lee
Hollywood
Levi
Walkons Snake Brown and the Law Dog Lawson Shaeffer..
Don't get any better than that!!!!!!!!

PG - Mo Williams
SG - Letrell Sprewell
SF - Gerald Wallace
PF - Robert Horry
C - Antonio McDyess

I wanted to put Hollywood in there somewhere as will as Green, Derrick McKey, David Benoit, and Obasohan.
