Trevor Lawrence is a great player. Great player. But I’m not giving him Superman status for being a knife through melted butter against Notre Dame. That defense was crap and if he was gonna flex he should have put up 60. Again, great player, but what do you think Florida or Alabama does against that Notre Dame defense? Both consistently score in the 40s and 50s. And this was Dabo leaving Lawrence in the game the whole time.
Also, let’s get real for a minute. The ACC as a football conference is straight garbage. It is a one team league. I honestly think Alabama should consider moving to that league to stay easily healthy and injury free by playing maybe 1 game all year long while recruiting in the top 5. Get in to the playoffs 100% instead of getting beat up in this league going in at 75%.
