Former Muscle Shoals G Mark Sears

Was going through various conference stats looking at scoring leaders and saw this kid was leading Ohio and the MAC with nearly 20 points per game as a sophomore. A little more research showed a less than impressive offer list but kid can apparantly ball. Mike Davis' son is a Sr at Detroit who is scoring 20+ per game. Going to be a lot of talented guards available in the portal at the end of the season. Not saying Sears is one of those.

Sears can play. I’m not sure his size/athleticism is quite up to this level but I haven’t seen Him since he was a junior at Muscle Shoals. He played his senior year at a prep school. Muscle Shoals would have been contenders with him as a senior. He was a really really good basketball player the last time I saw him.

I saw him play over at Sparkman a few times. Very good ball player. He could probably play in the SEC. A lot of guys are late bloomers, especially guys that stick around college four or five years.

i know his family, they are from russellville. he had a uncle play football at tennessee and tampa bay, and another uncle play football at auburn.
