We were thinking the game would be on Thursday, so my wife made plans to go to dinner with friends. She is pissed because I told her I was staying home and she could go if she wanted.

Oh yes, she knew I wouldn't go and now she wants to watch it too.
It reminds me of something my Uncle told me years ago. I was having trouble with my wife over some trivial thing and he explained to me in simple terms, "son, women are not like normal people"
I thought that was just a dumb statement, and he passed away 3 years ago, and the more I think of that the more it makes sense. 🤣
