George Lynch, the former North Carolina and Los Angeles Laker star and currently the director of player personnel at SMU, has been contacted by new University of Alabama head basketball coach Avery Johnson about a position on the UA staff.
An individual with knowledge of the SMU program confirmed that Lynch had spoken to Johnson about joining the UA staff.
