Man these threads are as bad as football lol Petty was HUGE for us in the last 5 min. Locked Coopers ass down and imo is what forced him to take that garbage 3 because he was frustrated. Brunner also came up big late on the boards. But what I dont like about this offense is how we just dribble at half court for 10 seconds before anybody moves. Literally nobody moves hardly til 10 second run off the clock

I thought Petty coming back into the game with about 5 mins left was the difference in the game. He played great defense, scored around the basket and had a couple of steals.
Haha. Me either once they didn’t call a foul after Shack contested a 3 at the buzzer when we were up 4.
He was great today...Bama’s bigs mostly struggled behind him and he just stepped up and held the fort
That was all Petty guarding him and obviously figuring out on his own how to do it.
Yup...hell of a game by Bruner today. Glad he stepped up because the team needed it.
I kept telling everyone to just wait until this team figured out how Oats wants them to play. They’ve gotten so much better. I can’t say enough about it. Old Bama teams lose a game like this one 10 out of 10 times. Upperclassmen leadership really showed down the stretch. Petty, Bruner, Herb. So proud of these dudes.
Great win - 24/29 from the free throw line won us this game. On to Kentucky!
Ground out a close win away from home in a rivalry game without our only true point guard and playing the barn’s best player who no one has college film on? That’s huge. We would’ve lost that game last year. 4-0!!!
Just listened to Oats postgame. Really bragged on Petty. It seems like all of the wounds have healed. What I love is Petty wanted to guard Cooper and he shut Cooper down at the end.
You missed an entertaining one for sure. How did your youngest do this morning?
They took it on the chin today. Lost 52-39 but they played with only having 3 practices. This other team looked like they should be in HS lol.
