Game thread: Alabama vs. LSU

I don't post too much during games but just wanted to say that I am so glad we now have players that play with so much effort. They are not perfect but they play hard.
Alabama leads LSU 45-32 with 15:32 to play. The Tigers are 0 of 8 from the floor in the second half.
Only time I want to see Rojas in is if we need to foul
Gary is certainly make a case for more minutes so far tonight...good stuff from the young guys, really glad for him
Couldn’t agree more with this. Effort is why we won against Miss St and Kentucky. Kept us in the game at Oklahoma and it’s the reason we’re up 15 on a night we aren’t making 3’s. Love the effort this team gives on a nightly basis
Not just tonight imo... he’s consistently logged solid minutes for the last month.
It’s great that even when we aren’t clicking on all cylinders offensively we’re still in games with good teams
I don’t understand why Herb was even in the game there? Stupid foul by him to get his 4th but dang get him out that early with 3.

Love seeing Ellis playing well. Had high expectations for him coming into the year
Still running Averys inbound sets. Throw it up in the air and let everybody jump for it. No screens or anything to get it in.
Nothing better than getting in from having to run a bunch of 12yo for not listening during practice and seeing Bama with a 20 point lead over the corndogs.
And that's without a lot of made threes. Only had a 4 point lead at the half.
And most of this lead came with Herb on the bench with 4 fouls. That’s the difference with this team. A little bit of adversity doesn’t phase them. We adjust however we need to and keep playing hard. Last year if we weren’t making 3’s or Herb gets in foul trouble like tonight and you could go ahead and give us a loss.
Beats having to run a bunch of high school players for the same....smoke coming out my ears...
Alabama players always seem to get hurt and no fouls ever get called like herbs bloody nose last game.
Yeah that would drive me crazy; at least you come in knowing 12yo have the attention span of a goldfish. I would expect better from HS.

Shack drives me nuts. Wide open guy beside him, tried to throw it to somebody completely covered up.
Gotta take the gold with the bad; he also knocks down some clutch shots from time to time. And I love the fact he fearless, but he can make some bonehead plays also.
Pretty good when they say we weren’t our best on offense and they still put up 78 lol
