I didn't realize the elevation was such a big deal in Ashville. It's only bothering Grill according to the commentator. It may be that he's scoring and playing more. People are guarding him harder. Just my idea.

Glad we beat a team we were supposed to. Lots of improvements to make but at least we shot better.
Not only beat. We covered $$. I'm always just optimistic. We definitely need to improve on d. But we have a providence team tomorrow that will hopefully give the d some confidence going forward. And a chance to be 3-1
It seemed as if UNLV couldn't miss in the first half. Not sure if that's a product of a great start for them or just bad perimeter D for us. We need to get Bruner to dunk the ball instead of trying to set a record for pump fakes. He's no Dante Hall around the rim. Better effort but UNLV is not good at all. Glad to see we got hot from the outside. This team will grow and get better. Primo showed some nice flashes. We need to avoid the large number of charges while driving the lane. JQ has been very solid too.
I’m not against Bruner. It’s just been I watch him run, it reminds me of Jimmie Taylor. There’s some struggle involved.
He doesn’t seem as agile as he was at Yale. But his skill set is why I’m glad to have him. He can bring the ball up the floor and handles it well for a big. His shots will start falling I think, and that will open things up. Love his defense as well.
