We’ve always struggled to get the ball in against pressure, full court or just in a baseline out of bounds.
Somewhat surprised by attendance. Looks like there is 250 total in the building.
We can’t get a stop and a clean rebound to run. And they are taking away the 3. And our answers for that are limited at times. Hopefully we can man up around the paint on D.
Miles doesn’t deserve any minutes on this team in my opinion. Can’t defend or score or pass or dribble
Man 13 turnovers resulted in 15 points off of turnovers for the Huskies. That's the difference right now.
No idea what they are doing…the paint is packed and they are just driving wildly inside anyway and turning it over…over and over
They are doing what good teams do against us, play great perimeter and lane defense, take a way the drive/dish, and force our guys to move well without the ball to get open. Something we struggle with.
If we’d take a page out of UCONN’s book and run some sets with motion and such, we’d avoid some of these awful ugly droughts.
Bill Walton just called Jaden Bradley a "young Chris Paul." Nate Oats already compared Bradley to Marcus Smart earlier this year.
If we cut down on turnovers we will win going away. We are the better team just need to

Watching some clips of the first and the thing that jumps out is Bama got pushed around. And trying to force things to Bediako created several turnovers, but also the screens OMG…just horrible horrible job by the screeners (although the ball handlers often didn’t help by getting pushed wide over the screen)…poorly positioned and weak weak weak…consistently turning to roll out of the way early or just getting pushed away…and usually not actually rolling, just stepping a few feet away after being pushed and letting the D play two guys easily.
Basically the guys had some poor responses to the physical nature of the game and the turnovers became an avalanche.
The response was nice but I don’t expect UConn to stop playing physical so the guys need to sack up and match it.
Bailed out. Not sure what makes Burnett shoot that. Hopefully we don’t play anybody any bigger and more physical than these two teams the last 2 nights.
It seems like they are dominating us in the paint. Our style of play must kill our ability to run inbound sets bc we absolutely suck at it.
We’d be better off to take a 5 second call on BLOB plays so we can just go set up on defense when it’s dead.
