Path to the sweet 16 couldn't be sweeter for us.Well at least we’re not one and done
have been his biggest critic, even today. the last 3 he hit was big.If we ever shoot the ball well again, we can make the final four. Say what you want about Reese, he was huge today
Reese does not get enough credit with his ability to spot up and hit the open three. If we ever shoot the ball well again, we can make the final four. Say what you want about Reese, he was huge today

Sure he can guard. But according to you, only the “new” guys can play offense. And here you are salvaging that talking about Ellis and his D. The old guys can guard too.Ellis plays such a vital role on d that is often overlooked. OATS is an absolution legend for taking this specific team and having the season they've had. wow.
I think it was 11 missed at half. What was final number on missed layups? Had to be around 10.
what? Keon was brought in by oats...........he only took 3 shots but went like 5 rebounds and 4 assists or something like that. 1 steal, 1 block, and ONLY 1 turnover..........Sure he can guard. He's been in a slump from three for at least a month now. They'll start falling for Petty. Hes just in a slump
HERB had to hit his second half of the season average of 50% from layups lmaoI think it was 11 missed at half.
Not concerned with UConn at all?Path to the sweet 16 couldn't be sweeter for us.
Unfortunately, this is true. He is not just missing his shots by a Little now, but they are a number of times ugly misses. He is even missing his FT’s. He was 2-7 at one point today from the FT line. You can see this is starting to affect the rest of his game, making him press, aka the turnovers. It seems that he has mentally lost it, and it looks to be weighing on him more and more. I would be very surprised if he was able to pull out of this, all of a sudden, and become a valuable offensive contributor. If it were a couple games, sure, but it has been a lot longer than that. I hope I end up wrong, but he is just struggling so badly that I don’t think it is realistic to expect him to pull out of this quickly. He's been in a slump from three for at least a month now.
Pitino can coach. I’d guess they beat us in the half court. I wish we had more movement, screening, etc in the half court.gotta give Pitino credit too. what a coach.

congrats to Reese? especially on his 25% 3 pt fg percentage and 34% total fg percentage this year and nonexistent defense? is that what you are wanting? either way ellis is one of the most critical pieces in every come back we've had. He doesn't turn the ball over. rarely makes mistakes. Not selfish. Hes herb on d with more upside for years to come on offense and more explosive. plus an all around great kid that you cant help but root for in his 1st year for CNO. The best thing about the new guys is that their floors are at the ceilings of most players that have been here for years. Either way I'm glad we won. I just dont support Reese seeing the courtPitino can coach. I’d guess they beat us in the half court. I wish we had more movement, screening, etc in the half court.
And I know Oats brought in Keon. That was my point. If all Oats guys were so much better, they’d play so much more. Oats wants to win. Ellis played fewer minutes than Reese today.

Right! My ehole thing is it cant get any worse we are already missing layups and 3s! Why not put in a guy like Miles and just see if someone can creat a spark! And as far as Ambrose or Bruner, i feel bad for Bruner and his inability to move around but its hard to watch and I think he a liability down low and our pace of play!what's he gonna do? potentially miss a 3? we been doing that all game already. I feel the same you do on miles and also for Ambrose.
Team didn't play well but they played hard, especially on defense. But against better teams we're going to need to hit more shots from three. If Petty would ever get going it could ignite the rest of the guys too.Our teams ability to play like shit and win by double digits is remarkable. Idk if that’s a good or bad thing.
Heck yes congrats to Reese. Hung around. Worked his butt off. Played through injuries. Obviously loves be a part of the team. He hasn’t shot the ball good at all. But he made 2 huge 3’s today when we needed them really bad.congrats to Reese? especially on his 25% 3 pt fg percentage and 34% total fg percentage this year and nonexistent defense? is that what you are wanting? either way ellis is one of the most critical pieces in every come back we've had. I've come to realize that Bamabuilt must be a HoF church league coach or something...Heck he’s congrats to Reese. Hung around. Worked his butt off. Played through injuries. Obviously loves be a part of the team. He hasn’t shot the ball good at all. But he made 2 huge 3’s today when we needed them really bad.
And you love to talk bad about his defense. It’s not that way. Like the other day, you were dogging his defense during a game. A lot of us thought it was good. After the game, Oats called out the good defense Reese played in the game...

good shots due to timing of them. It should happen at this level. I mean if you're a 3pt shooter you should be able to hit shots at a higher clip than 25%......Personally I believe JQ and Gary hit the biggest shots of the game. JQ is a closer and led us to victory.Reese hit the 2 biggest shots of the game.
hes pumping confidence. No big deal. He has the worst positioning on defense since carl "the swede"Heck yes congrats to Reese. Hung around. Worked his butt off. Played through injuries.
