Agreed, but they needed to turn the “flippant flair” down a notch And be a tad more in control of things. Just a hair.
Refs swallowing their whistle.. that missed alley oop and layup on back to back possessions will be the difference in this game
Kentucky leads Alabama 54-52 with 3:57 to play. The Tide is ice cold since the break, shooting 3 of 16 from the floor.
Our bigs arent that athletic. Next years team should look way different in that department.
Not really sure anyone has looked good tonight, but still have a chance here. Keep fighting and we can take this one
We still can win this game, but I am having a hard time watching this. I understand driving to the basket, but we have passed the ball out all year for the shot and been very effective, I am not sure why tonight everyone wants to play 1 on 1. With that said, we are a very good basketball team and if we do lose this team is still in good shape.

Worst we've looked since the early games where no one was doing much and the guy with the ball was going 1 on 3.
But, if we had just made half our layups we're up by like a dozen right now.

I thought Ellis should have got that pass early instead too
Our most difficult layup of the night and he makes it. But we missed a dunk for Ellis. Just didn’t get it out fast enough.
It was the correct call but initially it looked like a charge. If the defender had stayed put it would’ve been... but he was moving towards shack while he was in the air
It’s crazy to get calls against Kentucky in our gym. Don’t know the last time that happened. Usually it feels like their gym at our place.
I think its as much about the lack of fans as anything. It really changes the feel of the game so the officials are more dialed in to what is actually happening. It has certainly helped us in recent road games.
Great job fighting. Two terrible defensive possessions giving them an easy 3 while only taking 4 seconds off the clock and then fouling away from the basket like that. Just make FTs though and close this one out boys. It’s a great sign that we were able to come out and play this poorly and still pull out a win.
Yes!! Roll Tide! What a team. We can win games like this too. Not many 3’s hit or really shot and we find a way to win. Great night
Great to gut out this win! When they went up at around 4:30 to go I was afraid we were about to limp into a loss. Really stepped up late and won the game on the FT line.
These are games weve lost in the past. You can tell these guys love playing for Oats the way theyve stepped up on D. Not a good night on offense shooting the ball and had a ton of turnovers, but they got back and played D. Never holding their heads down or loafed back. This team has a totally different attitude about em.
