Ive got my flame suit on, and trust me, I don’t want to lose, but I think I started feeling this way all the way back in the 2012 opener vs Michigan and the Missouri game the same year when LaMichael Fanning suplexed that guy.
At the end of the Shula years, I remember thinking that I’d be happy to be a consistent, competitive Top 10 team again. I never imagined the level of dominance Saban would achieve.
Anyhoo, beating pretty good football teams like Michigan, Florida (under Meyer), Virginia Tech, Michigan State, etc. like a rented mule is fun, but it sometimes bores me. Does anybody else feel the same? Have you grown complacent at times? I sometimes feel like General Zod in Superman II: “I win! I always win. Is there nobody on this planet that can even challenge me?”
