While we concentrate on getting every 3-star available, the Buckeyes have 15 verbals -- 1 5-star, 11 4-stars, 2 3-stars, and 1 NR (a kicker). Plus they just landed a Class Of 2017 5-star from Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas.
Even Penn State is doing well with its 8 verbals: the #1 C (Connor McGovern), #2 TB (Miles Sanders), #6 QB (Jake Zembiac), the 16th-ranked CB (Lavert Hill), one of the top DEs in the nation (Shane Simmons) -- all 4-stars. Plus 2 highly rated 3 -stars who should get a 4th star and were recruited by Alabama among others, TE Dalton and SS/CB McPhearson. The only reach is 3-star OT Alex Gellerstadt.
Even Sparty is doing well (although Harbaugh at Michigan is having a tough time against the Ohio State recruiting machine).
