I get the feeling that the recruits we are bringing in this year are a direct reflection of Saban's statement in the spring, and I paraphrase,
"When we first came here the players/recruits had a mindset of 'how can I help the university', and more recently the mindset has transformed to 'how can the university help me'.."
From my perspective, the guys we're bringing in seem to be unselfish, high character players who are going to play for the man beside them, more so than past years. By the way I think last year's team was that way (led by Sims and Coop), and CNS & co. are now weighting heart a little more heavily in recruiting evaluations.
I'm pumped because those kind of teams are a heck of a lot of fun to root for and watch succeed. Roll Tide
