Hope you all are having a great Wednesday and a great week so far. Just wanted to jump in right quick and introduce myself.
My name is Alex Farrer, and @Kelly Quinlan has asked me if I could lend a helping hand for a while over here on the Bama site with Jack's recent departure. My main gig is with Kelly on the Georgia Tech site, but I will be doing a few things over here for whatever Kelly and @Tony_Tsoukalas need of me.
I actually have a bit of rooting interest in Bama sports with my cousins and one of my best friends since second grade being die-hard Crimson Tide fans. I've been to many a Bama football game and even a few basketball games over the years in Tuscaloosa and neutral site and road games (Atlanta and Knoxville). I'm pretty sure one of the first college football games I ever attended as a youngster was Bama vs. Southern Miss at Legion Field in the mid to late 90s. And as someone who follows Georgia Tech and Bama, we have one great thing in common...We both hate Georgia so I feel we can bond over that.
Anyway, I'm not sure how frequently you'll see me on here, but I will definitely be dropping in from time to time. Looking forward to it!
