Derrick Henry on Jalen Hurts: 'That guy's the truth'
Former Alabama running back and 2015 Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry will make his NFL regular-season debut Sunday, Sept. 11, when his new team, the Tennessee Titans, hosts the Minnesota Vikings in Nashville.
But before Henry plays in his first NFL game, and following an impressive preseason, the former Crimson Tide standout was asked about another No. 2 that had a strong showing his collegiate debut two days ago: Jalen Hurts.
“That guy’s the truth,” Henry said of Hurts, via TitansOnline.com. “For a freshman like that to be calm, collected on one of the biggest stages is just a good sign for our offense and for this season. I expect big things out of him.”
