Remember all of the hullabaloo over these two former hotshot head coaches? Both were thought by most college football analysts and fans to be can't miss successes at Texas and Nebraska, respectively. I always had serious doubts about Frost doing big things at Nebraska, but like most I drank the Herman kool-aid.

Frost will be 3-for-3 in losing seasons and currently has a 10-19 record at Nebraska. I've seen no improvement from the Huskers over his three year tenure. Bo Pelini did much better and Riley in his three seasons did slightly better than Frost. In fact, his record is on par with Mason's at Vanderbilt...lol.

Program and recruiting wise, Herman is in a far better situation, but he's still barely over 0.600....in the relatively weak BIG 12.

It's a crapshoot with most hires.
