I think some on here have missed on what is going on with the QB battle.
It's not a 5 man battle! It's a 3 vs 2 battle!
Coker, Morris and Bateman are battling for the High School sweetheart or Game Manager Role.
Barnett and Cornwell are battling to see who is the real Kate Upton.
The real question is what does this team need to win. Do we need the sweetheart ( Greg McElroy) or do we need Kate Upton ( Cam Newton). We are short at RB and lack proven playmakers at WR. The O line should be stout. We have no dominant TE or true get out of jail TE.
So, Do we have enough skill players to win with the winner of Coker, Morris and Bateman or do we need a little laigne yappe ( Kate Upton) Barnett and Cornwell to make the difference.
Can the Sweetheart unlock the potential in Drake and others or will it take the runway model to get the best out of Foster, Stewart and such. I think this is where the coaches are really at.
Auburn did not have anything special ( Upton) other than Cam Newton when they won the National Title....and we had everything special when we won with McElroy and Mcarron. What does this team need?
Two nuggets- TB had better get it together real real soon or he will be the next player processed. After the 4 amigos fiasco and the NT girlfriend beater ordeal there is not alot of love in T-town these days for BS. The University does not want anymore bad press showing up in headlines. Last year TB was tolerated because his skills were needed, that is no longer the case. He can be cut without missing a beat and he needs to realize it or he will be toast...
LK had better get his stuff together as well. You cannot do what he did at TN and USC at Bama right now... assistant coach is a long way from Head Coach and the level of tolerance is not there. Even Coach Saban has a boss, from what I hear his boss is not real high on certain behavior....
