Wednesday at 5pm ET the second “live” evaluation period of July begins and the coaching staff will be spread out across the country watching prospects. The evaluation period ends on Sunday July 19th at 5pm.

The top Under Armour teams, and select other elite teams (likely regional), will be competing in Atlanta at the Under Armour Association “The Finals” Wednesday thru Saturday. I’ll be on site at The Finals along with Rivals.com National Basketball Analyst Eric Bossi, Head of Multimedia Krysten Peek, Head of Social Media Lyndsay Lee, Nick Krueger will handle video and fellow Contributing National Basketball Recruiting Reporter Dan McDonald.

MWA, featuring the No. 11 prospect in the 2016 class, and Terrance Ferguson will be playing in The Finals so I'm expecting to see Coach Johnson front-and-center for his first game of the event (Wed 7:20pm ET).

The adidas Uprising All-American Camp will be going on July 15-17 in Long Island. You may review the participants HERE.

The Nike Global Challenge will be going on July 15-18 at Whitney Young High School in Chicago featuring:

- 8 team format. 4 USA Teams (east, north, south, west) and 4 international teams.

- Some players who play high school in USA will be on International teams.

- I have not seen a roster but I’m expecting in the neighborhood of 40-50 ranked players (total) from 2016,17, 18. Majority will be the same players from the Nike Skills Academy & Peach Jam. Some will also be from teams that didn't qualify for Peach Jam or players who couldn't quite get into skills Academy. I have heard that a few top Nike kids are passing on the event because they're tired from the travel, camps, AAU events and some played in the FIBA world championships.

The NY2LA Summer Jam is July 15-19 in Mequon, Wisc. This is an event of primarily upper midwest/regional teams that features a mixture of teams regardless of shoe company sponsor and some independents.

The Great American Shoot-Out is happening in Duncanville, TX July 16-19. Although it sounds like a regional event, teams from Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma as well as a team from Bahamas and Mexico have played in this event.

Each year there is a lot of talent in Texas so this event tends to attract close to 400 coaches annually. With Coach Johnson and assistant coach Scott Pospichal both have Texas ties one, or both, of them will probably spend time there.

I will try to post here, but since there are multiple Rivals team sites that I contribute to it could be late at night when I'm back at the hotel working on my recap of that day's top performers. So my suggestion (shameless plug in 3-2-1) is to follow me on Twitter because you may get in-game updates there.

Additionally, Rivals may stream some games on Periscope so if you haven't done so you can download the Periscope app at the app store or Google play then follow Rivals on Periscope to be alerted when they're broadcasting live.
