Alabama comes in with a 43 RPI and a 6 SOS. The RPI fell 15 spots after yesterday which is a massive fall. I was not expecting that kind of fall to be honest. I expected it to stay in the 30's.
Anyway, Alabama still only needs one win to secure a tournament berth and Tuesday night at home is the best opportunity. Florida will be on an emotional high beating Auburn, so it will be a tough game. They have three more games at a minimum to win one. If this team loses six in a row to end the season, well I have no answer for that. All they need is to just win one game.
Lunardi had UA as a 7 seed after last night which actually showed Bama moving up. Let's you know how the resume stacks up against other bubble teams. Give props to Avery, scheduling that tough in the non-conference is what is keeping UA in this.
