The way HE wants to run it. Imagine following Saban… you think he doesn’t feel the pressure? You think he wants to lose? He’s following the GOAT and there’s nothing he can do (short of winning 8 nattys) that would make you naysayers happy. I’ll be the first to admit he didn’t really want Jalen at QB, but just like Saban, it’s the best QB he had. Now he gets to start implementing the offense he wants to run. The QB “type” that he wants to command the offense. And the coaches he wants by his side.
But everything he does fans are quick to bitch and complain and point out Saban didn’t do it that way. Well no shit, because Saban left. There’s only 1 coach in CFB that does it the Saban way and that’s Kirby. I’d say Sark is trying but doesn’t have the steam to be that kinda coach. Point is if Deboer coached under Saban, he still wouldn’t be Saban. He’s his own man, and he’s gonna do shit his way. If you looking for another Saban, it’s not happening!
