I wonder why everyone thinks there can be a fix to college footballs predicament.

There is not anything anyone can do that won't be reversed on appeal. It is simply not feasible to limit a free citizen from moving schools or limit his ability to make money. It wasn't before even though the NCAA was doing it. It's not now nor will it ever be. Congress can't fix it even if the wanted to because none of the Universities or players are collectively attached to any business entity. They're all free agents with schools being loosely bound by tv and conference contracts. This is what college sports will be for a very long time. If you want to buy a championship then you will be able try.
