is the fear that Tua will transfer if he ultimately doesn't win the starting job outright. Personally, I'm grateful to have both of them. I don't feel like I have to down one in order to support the other. I feel each presents a different look, and a different set of problems for opposing defenses. To lose either one of them is a bad thing for us.

I also feel the staff is well aware of this. Perhaps someone in the know, or the mods can confirm or deny this theory. But, IMO, as long as both of them are here, there isn't going to be an "outright starter" taking 90+% of the snaps. Both are going to get considerable playing time, even into next year.
