In Theory, couldn't Herb Jones, Alex Reese, Jordan Brunner and John Petty

I guess they could. Petty and Herb are surely gone. No blue about Bruner and Reese. If they want to play basketball anymore they will probably return.
I could see Herb returning to polish his offensive game. What round do u see Herb going? Petty is gone.
Absolutely, I would be stunned if Herb did not come back, but Petty has nothing to gain by coming back other than putting himself so far in front of the Bama 3 point record book that he could never be caught, but in the grand scheme of things that does not mean much.

Many here know who I am talking about, so please don’t toss him under the bus, but a friend and long time NBA scout is telling me that Herb will be advised to come back next year. Now I realize that his 20 years in the NBA does not make him as smart as WE on this sight are, but he says as of last Saturday Herb would not be drafted in the upcoming draft. The emergence of all of the overseas players has really hurt guys like Herb.

Agree, he would be a huge asset to have for another year. The kid has improved so much and by all accounts he seem to be a quality human being as well.

If that's what he's telling you then he should be fired. Herb's style of play is made for the NBA. You don't find many guys 6'8 that can defend, run the point, rebound and guard 1-4. Granted herb needs to continue to polish his offensive skills but that can be done in the league, no way Herb should return to school.
Herb is a second round pick right now and climbing up many draft boards. I've only seen Petty on one or two mock draft sites as being drafted and those are late second.
I think both are gone; Herb isn't likely to climb much higher with and extra year and Petty has a kid.
Funny because you can't find a mock draft that doesn't have Herb being drafted and most have him climbing in their mock drafts. Not saying your source is wrong, but there are plenty that does these things for a living as well that disagree with him.
Call me crazy but I think Herb goes in the draft before Petty. I don't see any way either of those guys come back.
There is absolutely zero chance Herb returns for another year, unless, God forbid, he has a bad injury.

If you truly think that Herb can run the point in the NBA then I feel like the idiot for even responding to your hatefulness.
As I said earlier, these guys that do it for a living are nowhere near as brilliant as guys like you, but I am just passing on what I was told. As you remember last year I was told that he was an idiot because he said Petty would not get drafted even though JP was in plenty of mock drafts as a second rounder.
Sorry you disagree with what a true 20 year NBA veteran has to say, maybe you should apply with all of your brilliance. Do these guys get it all right? Absolutely not, but just passing it along.

I don't think Bobcat was insinuating that Herb could be a starting point guard in the NBA, but Herb has proven he can bring the ball up the floor and run the offense if in a pinch.

Herb can definitely be the point forward type in the NBA. Reminds me of a Rodney Hood, Derrick Jones Junior type player with greater upside..
Naw I'm not hating at all, I just totally disagree with his assessment. You heard of Anthony Bennet, Kwame Brown, Greg Oden, Markelle Fultz? These same guys thought they were the next great super stars worthy of a number one pick. These guys get it wrong quite often 20 year NBA veteran or not..
zero chance is pretty strong. i f you believe that and want to lay 100 to 1 odds on that--i will take 20 bucks on it. i know budog has some strong connections and he is nort a bull shitter by any means.
Back to back years he has suffered an upper extremity injury. Got to think he weighs that in his decision as well. I think he gone.
