Like any highly competitive athlete, losses are tough to accept. Especially as the quarterback at the University of Alabama, a program that demands perfection weekly from a fan base that is accustomed to having watched the Crimson Tide win 130 games since the arrival of Nick Saban in 2007.

Jalen Hurts has a remarkable record as a starting quarterback at Alabama having won 24 of 26 games, but the two losses have come at pivotal times over the last two seasons, losing most recently to Auburn 26-14 on November 25 and way back on January 9 in the National Title Game when the Crimson Tide was beaten by Clemson on the final play of the game losing 35-31.
