Pretty substantial and well connected story on another Tide site that is pretty damning and would explain a great deal of what is going on inside the locker room in Tuscaloosa.
Basically, Jalen Milroe told DeBoer when he was hired he could help stop the exodus of players leaving Tuscaloosa by sharing the Lank Collective with certain players of his choosing including Ryan Williams. But there was a caveat- he had to be named the starter and remain the starter or the Lank payments would crease. He then cozied up to DeBoer.
Milroe tried to leave himself for TCU but wanted the same starter guarantee. TCU told him to pound sand.
This whole situation has caused a cancer within the team and coaches. 20-25 players are involved and it has caused a nightmare of a situation.
These people providing this information are well connected and never post any BS.
I believe every word of it.
