MOBILE, Ala. ā€” James Burnip says he isnā€™t a big fan of peanut butter, but other than that life has been pretty sweet for the former Alabama punter as he takes part in preparations for the Reeseā€™s Senior Bowl in Mobile this week.

Burnip is serving as the punter for the American Team during this weekā€™s college all-star showcase. The Australian earned the spot following a solid season at Alabama last year where he averaged 45.37 yards on 52 punts while pinning his opponent inside the 20-yard line 19 times.

While heā€™ll have to wait until Saturday to show off his leg in a game setting, Burnip has been impressing scouts with his leg power and accuracy so far during practice this week.

ā€œJust be myself, just do what I do,ā€ Burnip said. ā€œI donā€™t need to change anything. Iā€™ve had a couple good seasons back-to-back, so I donā€™t need to change anything. Just keep going in, show them I can pin them on the sidelines, kick it far, kick it high. Whatever they want me to do, I can do it.ā€
