Averaging 15 a game this year for Baylor. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard his name when people talk about college basketballs best teams/players. And we wouldn’t even let him play.

That 2nd foul will slow that pace down. I sure wish we had him to go with what we have.
Something like the Alabama doctors wouldn’t clear him to play?
He has some sort of heart condition or something. Our docs wouldn’t clear him
Our medical staff was concerned Jared playing could lead to another Hank Gathers/Reggie Lewis type tragedy and Baylor was willing to overlook it.
Baylor overlooks a lot of things recently. Great player and a big what if for Alabama.

Baylor didn’t let Isaiah Austin play after they discovered he had Marfan Syndrome did they? I don’t understand how someone didn’t catch that way earlier in his life. I have it, along with my two kids, so I’m familiar with it.
It might be deeper than that. It was the same year that we got Kira to reclassify. Avery made room. I don't know this for sure, but it could be how it happened. Just my thoughts. Regardless, I think Kira was/is the better player, but it would have been nice to have both.
kid down at tulane is having a pretty good year as well. i hated to see him go

You talking about the freshman guard from last year? If so, I really liked him. Played hard. Always got loose balls and rebounded it.
I think that was why Coleman got the boot. You may be right, though. Both bad trades.
Forbes is having a terrific year at Tulane. He's averaging over 15 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. He's also shooting 39% from 3.
Man his shot and form always looked great to me. He just never got them to fall at Bama.
That’s him. I always thought he’s going to make one and the dam will break for him. He was ALWAYS close. Man he was so active. Loved watching him play.
Yep... but we only got him for one year. I know I’m a broken record, but I’m not a fan of telling talented players to move on after their frosh years.
