Exactly what Alabama needs. Primary ball handler that will bring a lot of experience off the bench.
And Toussaint is a very tough defender too

We are not hurting in the front court. We could use another big to split time with Pringle.

I have never watched the two guys play that bama has brought in….

I don’t know if they’re ball handlers.

Bama needs a player that can handle the ball in any type pressure situation …

Unless the players on the roster from last year become this type of guy through intense training, oats needs a player to handle the ball.

Say what you will about JQ but he was steady.

We have plenty of guards on hand, but Sears is the closest thing to a true point guard we have.

I don’t want to be negative, but I don’t usually like guards who can’t shoot it from the outside, and they don’t fit CNO’s offense.

What we need is a PG that can drive to the basketball and has the presence of mind to stop and shoot a easy 8 ft shot from the basket. It’s only 2pts but in a close game can make the difference.

If your point guard cannot shoot from outside, he will not be able to drive to the basket and/or drive and dish, effectively. Respect for the outside shot is vital, which is the problem Bradley had. Yes the point must he able to play under control and shoot the pull up jumper. A point that has all four is gold. The little point for Tennessee, last year, is the perfect example of what a point should be.

The perfect point guard would have the vision of Bryce Young.
