Watching parts of their game tonight. As an honor to their lost friend every player is wearing his # 16 complete with his name. Majestic opened up their plant Sunday night to produce the jerseys and then the employees took a flight and hand delivered the Jerseys after batting practice.
Dee Gordon wore his helmet and hit his first home run of the season as the lead off hitter. His tears were uncontrollable as were many other players.
Jose was scheduled to Pitch Sunday but he was pushed back a day. Chances are had he been scheduled to pitch as originally planned he would not have been out that late on a boat.
So sad ... loved watching him pitch .. so talented and so full of life.
