I watched the Pelicans the other day and didn’t notice him in the game one time. I just looked up his stats and couldn’t find where he’s played at all through 3 games. What’s the deal with him?

Was a lottery pick due to one reason/ his speed with the basketball. Will eventually be a contributor- but really no other part of his game was NBA ready. Maybe he also has an injury of some sort .

Main issue is the Pelicans are LOADED with guards. Kira was definitely drafted for his potential, not to come in and make an immediate impact. Once their roster gets more streamlined either later this season through trade or into next season, Kira should start to fill out a more prominent role. Also not all that uncommon for a late lottery pick on a pretty good team not to be getting much playing time early on.

The Pelicans are loaded with veteran talent at the guard position. Posters twho thinks Kira's game isn't NBA-ready don't pay close attention to the NBA IMO. I felt Kira's game is better suited for the NBA that relies a lot on aSpeed and athleticism. But when you have Lonzo and Bledsoe playing your position, why put a rookie out there when you think you have a team that can contend with what you have.
