For those who thought these young guys would just step in and adequately replace the starters and top two weapons at that position, well, this was exhibit A on why that doesn't usually end well against defenses like that. Yes, Metchie makes a considerable difference to this offense. Metchie and Williams make a significant difference, and, not surprisingly, Brooks and Hall and Holden weren't capable of filling that void.
