Nate Oats said guys were moving a bit slow this morning and practice started later but Alabama had a good practice.
Oats said Rylan Griffen has not gone life but is doing more basketball activity: "We're hopeful he can play on Friday." Griffen will be a game-time decision.
Oats said he'll watch the Georgia-Missouri game tonight
Oats: "We don't want to diminish the fact we had a great year." He said he wants to make up for missing out on a regular-season title with a SECT win.
On Latrell Wrightsell Jr.'s significance: "He makes open shots and he really guards. He follows the scouting report and he knows what to do." Said if Alabama can get both Wrightsell and Griffen back that will be its best chance at a title.
On not knowing an opponent: "You split the scouts up between the staff." Oats said it's different from the NCAA Tournament. He said today we went over some stuff for Kentucky and Florida/Georgia/Missouri yesterday.
On Latrell being back to conditioning fully: "I thought he's looked great in practice all week, If he's not 100% he's close. I'd say he's about 90-95%
Oats said Sam Walters and Jarin Stevenson both had good practices this week.
Oats on Nick Pringle's improved vocality: "He's gotten a lot better over the last month."
Oats said Pringle called Alabama’s next potential few games “a get-back tour.” “All three of those teams, those are the last three teams that beat us."
