Coleman is not a good basketball arena...period. Can it get loud? Yes. Can it be intimidating? Yes. When are most of the sellouts? When Kentucky comes and buys up extra seats, therefore losing our home court advantage. Do we sellout for other games? Some. I say all this as a season ticket holder and I have been going since I was kid before I was a ticket holder with my dad.
We are not building a new arena. I wish it would happen, but it isn't happening. What I can get behind is the renovation they planned 2-3 years. Coleman has a good footprint and a parking lot. We can work with that and it will save a ton of money. Here is the video if you haven't seen it before. It will be top notch and we all will like it. All the bad seats have been fixed. Then you have the high dollar suites and premium seats that make basketball more profitable.
