we had a number one class, but saban is always planing for the future. 1st off we have done great in georgia during the saban era. i certainly think that will continue, but we know kirby will be going after the same type players we are. i know he will not dominate us over there in recruiting, but he might make it a little tuffer. i think this had something to do with our most recent hire. we need to step up our recruiting in fla as a back-up plan.
coach key has been down there under o'leary for over 10 years. he was the recruiting coordinator for many of those years. he is well known and respected all over the state. now i know we got 3 great players out of fla in 2014, but we only got one player from down there in this class and he was a late take after we found out we had room for him. if we slip a little in geo, we will need to make it up in fla.. saban is always planning ahead and this is a smart and necessary move.
