We’re six and six. We’re barely ranked. We’ve now lost our home opener. I have no idea what Murphy is thinking. He had to know that our pitching would not hold up. He’s got too much experience, he had to know that. It seems like to me it may be time for Murphy to retire. It seems like Byrne needs to get more aggressive. Women’s basketball, softball, gymnastics, for once proud programs and are now floundering with the exception of women’s basketball this year. It only took 12 years. Last year, Danny White of Tennessee fired a pretty decent coach to get the one he’s got now. I wondered what he was doing when he done it but apparently he’s done his homework. It wasnt that long ago, Tennessee athletics was a joke now their women’s program is back on track, national championship, baseball team, and an improved football team. As you know, I hate Tennessee and these are hard facts to admit.
