During his weekly radio show, Nick Saban provided an update on Drew Sanders, who has missed the last three weeks with a wrist/thumb injury. Saban said that Sanders could be back for next weekend's game against LSU.
“I think there’s some possibility. I think they’re gonna do some scans on him next week early in the week, and if those work out, he may be able to play in the next game. But they’ve still gotta make sure he’s healed. If he’s healed then they can clear him to play. But the technology in medicine right now like unbelievable, and they can really tell whether his wrist and thumb and all that is healed properly so he won’t get reinjured and get a setback.”
