Do schools have a NIL "banker" that coaches go to and ask for X amount of money for a particular player? Is there a negotiation that takes place between "banker" and coach for the amount? How, and by who, is a players monetary value determined? Is there a binding contract between player and school? Is the money given up front or paid out monthly? Are there bonus incentives for the player?
