So, my boss, who is a huge Georgia fan, went to see the Dawgs play at Jordan Hare. He said he's been to every major stadium in the SEC EXCEPT for Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
Said, hands-down, Jordan Hare was the loudest stadium he's ever been in. Also, he raved about the video board, and that he remembers on third downs and field goals, there would be a close up of Fromm's or the FG kicker's face. Noted that several times, those players would look up and see their faces, huge and blown up, on the board and would instantly see a change in their demeanor. That it somehow amped up the pressure and rattled them.
He told me this before the SEC championship game, and felt JHS gave Auburn at least a 10 point advantage over anyone they played. Looking back on how UGA played in the SECCG, I felt it was worthy to mention here. Perhaps someone who went to that game or the IB can shed additional perspective.
