Greetings from Rhoads Stadium. Not a huge crowd but much bigger than the couple hundred who hung around through the rain/hailstorm delay to watch last night, haha.
Alabama goes for the regular-season sweep of the Mississippi portion of its regular-season schedule against Southern Miss. UA beat Mississippi Valley State last night and swept Ole Miss in three games earlier. All four wins via shutout. (Alabama does not play Mississippi State in the regular season this year, but could obviously run across the Bulldogs in the SEC Tournament ... or *theoretically* in a super regional or at the World Series.
Anyway, USM is 16-18 and Alabam ais 26-8.
