No doubt. But that seemed like Kentucky’s plan. They weren’t going to let us beat them at the rim easily and we missed the 3’s they gave us. Giving us 3’s isn’t a bad plan if you take the numbers from the entire season into account.

Yeah but we won the battle of that game in almost every area… just a freak performance from the three. It’s been bad a lot of the season, but it hasn’t been that bad.
Maybe. It would have changed the whole game. Kentucky may have sped their pace up then and scored more too. It’s not like we are killers on defense.
Without seeing the actual statline it would appear that Gary and Miles both lost minutes to Holt. May have a lot to do with what Ole Miss was doing but I'd dare say Holt played top 6-7 minutes tonight.

Funny to read the beginning post of this thread. Fun game to watch. I loved the hustle of Gurley. He played fantastic. It was nice to Holt play well. He has a great build and if he can start making shots, he can be player. Nice to see Shack break his record.
If we close out 5-2 and land a 5 seed these guys will still be around to piss all over it and tell us oats system won’t work… I’ve just accepted that they made their mind up that they hate him and it’s not going to change

These guys…. I’ve believed in Oats since the beginning. I was saying lock him up his first season. But i 100% believe when you’re one of the worst 3 pt shooting teams in the land, you don’t want to live and die by them every night. I get injuries. I get recruiting misses. I get player leaving when you didn’t expect it. I don’t get not adjusting to the roster you have.
Have you watched any games this season? We play well in big games and tend to play down to the competition. Man Bama basketball fans are complete retards. I’m pretty sure that doofus emoji face was his way of taking a shot at someone who obviously made a bone headed comment at some point. The fact that we beat 3 of 4 final 4 teams from last year says that we have played well in big games.
