New update: Sark has offered Pete a ton of money to join him at Texas. Saban really wants Pete to stay.

Ok, I know it seems everyday it’s something new, which it’s going to be during this time of year.
A source, same source that informed me about Banks days before the announcement he was headed to Texas informed me tonight that this smoke between Texas and Golding isn’t over yet.
Texas has interviewed Miss. State DC Zach Arnett and UGA DC Dan Lanning, and moved on from both.
Texas has opened up the wallet which is limitless. Saban enjoys having Pete around and has always been in his corner. Pete enjoys Saban and they have a great relationship.
What will happen over the next 48 hours should be telling.
I’m sorry to start yet another thread about this but my source has been way out in front of this for a while. Add to that Bobby Burton of the Texas site had similar info out there about Golding a few days ago.
As Saban said after the Natty, don’t blink on roster and staff management.
