of football, or even sports in general, here? What I mean is you really care about a football team, or whatever other sport, but you wish you didn't. I find myself wondering more and more why I invest so much concern in a football team. Why should I ever let my happiness be influenced, even a small amount, by people I have never met and something over which I have zero control? We win, we lose, so what? I think all us sports fans are at least a little insane. Logically, only the people actually playing should care. It's the only thing that makes sense. But Roll Tide anyway, at least until I can convince myself otherwise. But that is a long way away.
Philosophical question: Are there any other reluctant fans
