NOTESGAME CAPTAINS: Alabama’s captains against Auburn were running back Damien Harris, linebacker Christian Miller and offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher.

26 IN A ROW AT HOME: With its 52-21 win over Auburn, Alabama has now won 26-consecutive games at Bryant-Denny Stadium, the longest home winning streak in school history. The Crimson Tide won 24 in a row at home (Bryant-Denny and Legion Field combined) from Sept. 18, 1971 to Nov. 9, 1974.

12-WIN CLUB: With Alabama’s win over Auburn, the Crimson Tide has reached the 12-win mark for the ninth time in the last 11 seasons (2008, 12; 2009, 14; 2011, 12; 2012, 13; 2014, 12; 2015, 14, 2016, 14; 2017, 13; 2018, 12).

20-POINT VICTORY STREAK: Alabama has opened the season with 12-consecutive victories by 20 points or more, which is the most to start a season in NCAA history. The streak also surpasses the previous record of 10 consecutive 20-point victories at any point in a season, set by Boise State from Sept. 14-Nov. 23, 2002.

TIDE SENIORS POST 53rd WIN: Alabama’s win was the 53rd for members of Alabama’s senior class. The group has now posted a record of 53-3 (.946) to equal Alabama’s 2017 senior class (53-5; .914) for the most wins by a senior class in NCAA history.

DEFENSIVE NOTESHOLDING OPPONENTS UNDER 300: The Crimson Tide defense held the Auburn offense to just 283 yards today, marking the 105th time in 164 games (64.0 percent) under head coach Nick Saban that the Tide has held an opponent to less than 300 yards of total offense. The Tide has now held 17 of its last 27 opponents below 300 yards, dating to the start of the 2017 season.

TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS: Redshirt junior Anfernee Jennings’ fourth-quarter interception against Auburn gives the Crimson Tide at least one forced turnover in 54 of its last 56 contests dating back to the start of the 2015 season. During the current run, the Crimson Tide has forced 93 turnovers (63 interceptions, 30 fumbles) and returned 22 of those miscues for touchdowns. The Tide has forced at least one turnover in 15 consecutive games.

OFFENSIVE NOTESTIDE SETS TEAM SINGLE-SEASON PASSING YARDAGE RECORD: With 377 yards passing vs. Auburn, Alabama has now thrown for 3,985 yards this season to set a new school record. The previous season high was 3,890, set by the 2014 team in 14 games.

ALABAMA BETTERS SCHOOL RECORD FOR SINGLE-SEASON SCORING: With 52 points in the win against Auburn, the Crimson Tide has now scored 588 points this season, breaking the previous school record of 582 set by the 2016 team in 15 games.

TIDE HITS 50 FOR THIRD TIME IN SERIES HISTORY: Alabama’s 52-21 win over Auburn marks just the third time in series history that the Tide has surpassed the 50-point mark against the Tigers and the second time in the last five years. Alabama defeated Auburn 55-44 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2014 and 55-0 at Legion Field in 1948.

500 YARDS IN TOTAL OFFENSE FOR THE 11TH TIME IN 2018: Alabama’s 500 yards in total offense against Auburn marks the 11th time the Crimson Tide reached 500 yards this season and the 23rd time in the last 56 games dating to the start of the 2015 campaign.

SCHOOL-RECORD SIX TOUCHDOWNS SCORED FOR TAGOVAILOA: Tua Tagovailoa’s six total touchdowns against Auburn (five passing, one rushing) is a new Alabama school record. The previous record of five scores was held by five players, the most recent being Jalen Hurts, who had five touchdowns (four passing, one rushing) vs. Mississippi State in 2016.

TAGOVAILOA EQUALS UA SINGLE-GAME TOUCHDOWN PASSES RECORD: Tua Tagovailoa’s five touchdown passes against Auburn equals the Alabama single-game record set by Gary Hollingsworth at Ole Miss on Oct. 7, 1989.

TAGOVAILOA SETS NEW TIDE SINGLE-SEASON TOUCHDOWN RESPONSIBILITY RECORD: With five passing and one rushing touchdown against Auburn, Tua Tagovailoa upped his touchdown responsibility total for the season to 41 (36 passing/5 rushing), breaking the school single-season record of 36 set by Jalen Hurts in 2016 (23/13). Tagovailoa is also fourth on the UA career touchdown responsibility list at 54. Tagovailoa has 47 career scoring tosses and seven rushing scores in 21 games.

TAGOVAILOA THROWS FOR FOUR OR MORE TOUCHDOWNS FOR FIFTH TIME IN 2018: Tua Tagovailoa’s five touchdown passes against Auburn marks the fifth time the sophomore has thrown for four or more touchdowns in a game this season, a new school record. The five four-TD games are also the second most for a career at UA. AJ McCarron threw for four touchdowns seven times from 2010-13.

TAGOVAILOA EXTENDS SCHOOL RECORD WITH FIFTH 300-YARD PASSING GAME IN 2018: Tua Tagovailoa’s 324 yards passing against Auburn was his fifth 300-yard passing game this season. Tagovailoa broke the school record of three such games in a season against the Citadel on Nov. 17. Gary Hollingsworth (1989), Jay Barker (1994) and AJ McCarron (2013) shared the previous UA best with three 300-yard games.

TAGOVAILOA NOW SECOND ON TIDE SINGLE-SEASON PASSING YARDAGE LIST: With 324 yards passing against Auburn, Tua Tagovailoa has now thrown for 3,189 yards this season, which ranks second on the UA single-season passing yards list. Blake Sims is Alabama’s single-season record holder with 3,487 yards in 2014.

TAGOVAILOA TIED FOR SECOND ON UA CAREER TOUCHDOWN PASSES LIST: With a school-record five touchdown passes against Auburn, Tua Tagovailoa is now tied for second on the Alabama career touchdown passes list at 47 with John Parker Wilson (2005-08). AJ McCarron (2010-13) is the UA career leader with 77.

TUA AT THE HELM: Sophomore Tua Tagovailoa has directed 99 drives as the Tide’s starting quarterback this season with 58 resulting in touchdowns (58.6 percent) and eight culminating in field goals for 66 total scoring drives (66.7 percent). In those drives, the Tide offense is 46-for-79 (58.2 percent) on third down conversions, accounting for 4,718 yards on 536 snaps for an average of 8.80 yards per play and 431 of the 543 points scored by the UA offense.

JEUDY TIED FOR SECOND ON UA SINGLE-SEASON TOUCHDOWN RECEPTIONS LIST: Jerry Jeudy’s 46-yard touchdown reception from Tua Tagoavailoa to open the third quarter against Auburn was the sophomore’s 11thscoring catch of the season, tying him for second on the Alabama single-season touchdown receptions list with Amari Cooper (2012). Cooper also holds the school record with 16 touchdowns in 2014.

JEUDY MOVES INTO THIRD PLACE ON THE TIDE SINGLE-SEASON RECEIVING YARDS CHART: Sophomore Jerry Jeudy’s 77 receiving yards on five catches vs. Auburn gives him 1,079 yards receiving this season, which is the third-most in school history. Julio Jones is second with 1,133 yards in 2010. Amari Cooper is the school record-holder with 1,727 yards in 2014.

FIRST HALF SCORING: Through 12 games this season, Alabama is outscoring its opponents, 374-82 (31.2-6.8), in the first half. That total includes a 199-38 (16.6-3.2) first quarter advantage and a 175-44 (14.6-3.6) difference in the second quarter.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTESBULOVAS MOVES INTO THIRD PLACE ON UA SINGLE-SEASON PAT LIST: Redshirt freshman Joseph Bulovas’ seven PATs today gives the Mandeville, La., native 63 for the season, moving him into third place on the UA single-season PAT list. Adam Griffith (2016) is second with 66. Jeremy Shelley is Alabama’s season leader with 69 conversions in 2012.
