Mostly Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Disregard my earlier public announcement about practice notes. The dentist worked faster than Eddie Jackson on a punt return and got me in and out in 30 minutes and I made it. Alabama was in full pads today after taking Monday mostly off.

  • Most of these notes are checking on the guys who didn't finish Saturday's game. Hopefully can get some more observations for you all tomorrow.

  • Jalen Hurts (wrist) practiced and looked fine. Tommy mentioned to me earlier today that it looks like Jalen was hurt on a run right before he overthrew Hale Hentges in the end zone in the first quarter on Saturday, but played the whole game. Should be fine for this week too.

  • Eddie Jackson was also out there with the DBs. He's expected to play Saturday.

  • Minkah Fitzpatrick was participating as well. Saban said yesterday he should be OK for the game.

  • Reuben Foster was his usual self out there. Think he was just cramping really badly at the end of the game.

  • As expected, ArDarius Stewart (knee) was not practicing. Did see Cam Sims leading one line of WRs through drills. Calvin Ridley and Gehrig Dieter were both in the other line.

  • Trevon Diggs was working at WR today. Not sure if that's a "for now" thing just this week or they're going to be done playing him at DB.

  • The 5 offensive linemen that played the entire game on Saturday (Cam Robinson-Ross Pierscbacher-Bradley Bozeman-Shank Taylor-Jonah Williams) were the first 5 again today.

  • Seemed like they got a few more reps for the 2s in the nickel package today than we normally see, but that might have just been the time I was looking over there. Mack Wilson and Keith Holcombe were the LBs in there with that package.
