I think that coker probably had the benefit of doubt from the coaches. but I think the doubt is almost gone. Now this is just how I see it going and these are still humans so anything can happen. But I think that a guy like Cornwell with all the measurables. 6.5 220 can move well and has a great arm. If a guy like that gets a little confidence and is finally healthy from an acl And has had enough time in the system he will probably take off and run with it. Coker has shown that he can be inconsistent and it has opened the door for Cornwell. And that's all that I think Cornwell needed. An open door and some confidence. I expect him to continue to improve and if he gets the first team reps this fall I expect him to be really good. Aj mcarron started his sophomore season after redshirting and learning the system. And aj really played well his first year. I don't know if David has the leadership abilities that aj had but I think he is a good bit more talented than aj. So I'm really expecting a lot from Cornwell. I think he wins the job convincingly by seasons start.
