Alabama made it to the championship game after defeating Houston in OT and Rutgers, but succumbed to a really good Oregon team in nip and tuck battle.

Alabama played a really poor game to me with a lot of turnovers and poor outside shooting, but found themselves tied with a chance to get a stop and go down and win. However a weak side putback dunk with 4 seconds left for the Ducks proved to be the game winner.

Mark Sears is struggling right now to say the least, but if you know Mark, he will figure it out. He works to hard to not figure it out. Losing Wrightsell for what seems like the season will be a big blow to this team offensively. That’s losing a 40+% shooter on a team that needs his presence. Maybe it’s not as bad as it looks.

Looking ahead, Alabama has a road game at UNC and a home game vs Creighton left in their gauntlet. If you told me they’d finish 7-3 in those 10 games, I would’ve taken it. I honestly think they beat North Carolina, in a game that Youngblood could be returning.
