What. A. Game. It was about as statistically even as a college basketball game could be, but Alabama wins in OT in the Jungle over #1 Auburn.

People worried about the defense, but I thought they’ve played great defense since the Missouri game outside of the second half vs Florida. They’ve looked tired, but they’ll get nearly a week long break getting to play their next game Friday night at 8:30 pm.

Grant Nelson played up to his potential, Mark Sears played great as a contributor with 7 assists and 1 turnover all game, and Aiden Sherrell/Cliff Omoruyi dominated in the paint today. When the team plays like this, they can win a national championship. They played with a lot of intensity and chemistry, and that is all they have to do it. You can tell the schedule wore them down towards the end, but it seems like they’re starting to peak at the right time. Think about it, they should have two top 5 road wins the past week, but a collapse prevented that.

Now, Alabama likely plays Kentucky in the quarterfinals, but the roles are reversed and Alabama are heavy favorites vs the Cats
